Eddie Konczal, Published in Amboy Beacon on November 8, 2005 Now that Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis Libby, has been indicted on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice, the web of lies woven by the Bush administration has begun to unravel.
The leak of a CIA agent's name was part of a larger effort to discredit anyone who challenged the spurious motives leading to the war in Iraq.
President Clinton was impeached for lying about an affair. Aren't the lies of the Bush administration - which have resulted in the deaths of more than 2,000 American troops - much more serious?
