I am one of the lucky citizens of Monroe who can point to a number of accomplishments by our mayor and council.

We have an outstanding recreation center, a fine library, a senior citizen center with a list of programs and activities that cannot be matched, and emergency and police services that are the epitome of excellence. Monroe gets better and better.
