IWONDER why Christine Flowers ("Political Hysteria a Two-way Street") recognizes that President Obama is "constitutionally qualified to hold office," yet focuses only on the fact that "He's the son of a U.S. citizen mother." Mr. Obama was also born in the U.S.

Speaking about how liberals behaved during the Bush administration (the worst eight years of my life), if some depicted Mr. Bush as Hitler, it wasn't what I did, but I will not apologize for calling him a murderer - unless Ms. Flowers can come up with a better word for someone who bombed a country and sent our own to die while looking for WMD that were never there!

GOP Sen. Jim DeMint, promoting his book "Saving Freedom" at the National Press Club, said that under Obama, America is like Germany before World War II. What does Ms. Flowers say about that?

And the open-carry law in Arizona was not the reason that right-wingers showed up with weapons at a town-hall meeting.

Such a display of intimidation and bad taste occurred during many McCain-Palin rallies. Flowers voted for the candidates who didn't condemn this open threat on Obama's life. Her interpretation of Howard Dean's statement is correct: "If you are a conservative, there's blood in your eye."
