When: March 28, 2009 – Saturday12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM (Rain or Shine) Where: Huddy Park, Main Street & Water Street, Downtown Toms River, NJ The Rally provides an opportunity to learn about the safety and health issues associated with operating the 40 year old plant and how a 20-year license renewal will directly affect the public. The rally falls on the nationally observed 30th anniversary of the partial meltdown of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant, which alerted the country to the hazards of nuclear power plants. Entertainment: Colie Brice and the New Age Blues Guest speakers include: - Norm Cohen, Director, Unplug Salem.
