"The swearing-in of the new Congress on Jan. 5 marked the beginning of an effort by the House Republicans to repeal health care reform. The GOP is misguided and the price of repeal is too high.

"In truth, only big health insurance companies gain from repeal because it means huge profits for them, as well as rising insurance premiums, an added $1 trillion to the deficit and fewer benefits for the average American."
