"On the campaign trail, Gov. Christie talked about how he was going to be more “aggressive” on clean energy, a major solution to climate change. He also said he would return to science-based decision making within the DEP. He certainly never publicly questioned the science of global warming or its potential impacts for New Jersey.
"But last week, during a town hall meeting in Toms River, he played the role of a global warming skeptic. When asked if humans were helping to cause global warming, he responded by saying that “he didn’t know” and that he’s “skeptical.”
