Isn't it disgusting that Vice President Dick Cheney, with his five deferments, is getting the best of care for his history of heart problems, while permanently maimed and emotionally destroyed veterans of the Iraq war get rats, mold, roaches and their benefits turned down at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and other veterans hospitals across the country.
The Bush administration has been quietly cutting our veterans' health retirement benefits but doesn't seem to mind when $8 billion disappears without scrutiny to companies such as Halliburton in Iraq.
What's even more disgusting is that Cheney, one of the biggest proponents of the Iraq war, lets others like I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby take the rap for the lies Cheney made up that got us into this war in the first place.
If there is a God up there, he should not rest until Cheney and his puppet Bush pay for their crimes against common decency and humanity. He should start with impeachment and follow through with a long prison sentence for both.
