Joe Van Der Bogart / Staff Writer, The Daily Targum Issue date: 9/4/08 "With the November presidential election creeping closer, politicians are doing everything they can to help ensure support and votes for their respective presidential candidates.
"New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg, along with several other New Jersey politicians, spoke at Trayes Hall at the Douglass Campus Center Tuesday. The speeches were an attempt to make a final push to secure votes from the New Jersey Jewish community for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama."
