Congress is unlikely to pass the health plans supported by Obama and Clinton. The wait for universal insurance is likely to continue.

Deep down, both they and their policy advisers share the same social ethic and aspire to the same ultimate goal: No American should lack access to cost-effective modern health care for want of ability to pay, and none should suffer undue financial hardship for using such care. The age-old question, hotly debated for over half a century now, is how to reach that goal."
