Re: “Presidential directive erases history” (letter by Charles N. Davis, Dec. 24):

There is a way to stop the Bush administration’s efforts to write its own history despite Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Ky., who opposes the bill passed by the House (Presidential Records Act Amendments of 2007 or H.R. 1255/S.886) that would ensure release of presidential records.

It is not just/only “unless we the people wake-up and do something about it,” but for Congress to listen to we the people and to bring articles of impeachment against Bush and Cheney.

The list is long enough to impeach and it takes only one day to indict and put impeachment back on the table. The Bush administration has already written its history, (and it’s) up to Congress to have the courage to end it.
