Uploading a Letter to the Editor (Simplified) |

Here is a simplified procedure for uploading a letter to the editor. This is an easier method to use if you are uploading your own letter and do not need to "override the created date." - Log on using the "Login Form" found under the Main Menu at: http://www.usmediacorps.org/nj
- Click the "Published Letters" link on the Main Menu
- Click the "New" link under the "Published Letters" title bar.
- At the Content Item: New window, enter the title of the letter in the Title: field.
- For Category select the appropriate category for the letter.
- Type or paste the name of the newspaper in the " Intro Text: (required)" text area.
- (Optional) If you are uploading the letter after the date of publication, type "Published on" and the date the letter was published.
- (Optional) Type or paste the URL of the published letter in the "Intro Text: (required)" text area.
- Type or paste the body of the letter into the Main Text: (optional) text area.
- Scroll down and click the "Publishing" tab.
- Change the "State" to "Published.
- Click the "Save" icon in the upper right area of the current browser window.
