Recommended procedure for uploading a letter to the editor: - Log on to the NJ Media Corps administrator at: http://www.usmediacorps.org/nj/administrator/
- At the Control Panel, click on "Add New Content"
- At the Content Item: New window, enter the title of the letter in both the Title: and Title Alias fields.
- For " Section:" select "Published Letters"
- For Category select the appropriate category for the letter. If you do not see the category you are looking for, contact us.
- Type or paste the name of the newspaper in the " Intro Text: (required)" text area.
- (Optional) Type or paste the URL of the published letter in the "Intro Text: (required)" text area.
- Type or paste the body of the letter into the Main Text: (optional) text area.
- Select the author of the letter from the "Change Creator:" dropdown box, or if the name does not appear there, type or paste it into the "Author Alias:" field.
- If the published date is not the current date, select it from the "Override Created Date" calendar.
- Click the "Save" icon in the upper right area of the current browser window.
