I wanted to call to your attention an important and timely free event in New York City on Sunday, March 9th. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, I won't be able to participate as a speaker, but I send my support. A Town Hall Meeting: "Is Impeachment Necessary to Protect The Constitution?" Sunday, March 9th, 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Judson Memorial Church 55 Washington Square South, NYC. Speakers include: Bruce Fein - constitutional scholar, former associate deputy Attorney General, & Chairman of the American Freedom Agenda Elizabeth Holtzman - former member of Congress & co-author of The Impeachment of George W. Bush: A Practical Guide for Concerned Citizens Scott Horton - contributor to Harper's Magazine, adjunct professor at Columbia Law School, & member of the board of the National Institute of Military Justice and the Council on Foreign Relations Invited Speaker: Representative Jerrold Nadler - member of Congress & Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Special Guest: John Nirenberg - former professor, college dean, author, & "March in My Name" impeachment activist This is a true town hall meeting, so you will be able to question the speakers on the topic of impeachment. I'm sorry that I won't be there with you, but I'm sure that you will find this a valuable meeting. Best, Robert Wexler www.WexlerForCongress.com
